Kerry Drager is a photographer, writer and instructor who lives in Morro Bay with his wife, landscape oil painter Mary Summers.
He is the author of three photo how-to books and the co-author of two photo-essay books, all nationally published. Known for his friendly style, he teaches photography through Cuesta College Community Programs and BPSOP.com.
Says Kerry: “My photography evolved out of a love of the outdoors, as well as a desire to share my vision with others. Although I enjoy viewing digital art, my own work relies on in-camera techniques, rather than Photoshop, in order to capture the scenes and colors as I saw them. The pursuit of inspiring subjects and beautiful light … these have always been satisfying goals!”
In addition, Kerry has been profiled in Outdoor Photographer and Shutterbug magazines. He is also active on Facebook and Instagram, regularly posting photos with shooting tips and insights.
