1944-Born in Southern California. Lived in Texas for 5 years. Then back to So. California.

1958-1962-Attended Garden Grove High School in Garden Grove, California. Among the awards in art received, were the Scholastic Art Award Gold Key, the Bank of America Award for Art, and Honorable mention in the Hallmark Awards. Also won 2 years of scholarships in a figure drawing class at Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles.

1967-Received Bachelor of Science in Art Education at the University of Minnesota. Student taught at the Minneapolis Art Institute and was hired to teach art there in the summer.

1967-1968-Lived in Monticello, Minnesota. Taught art in the local school summer program.

1969-1972-Lived in Pacifica, California. Studied how to use art museums to teach in the public schools at the University of California at San Francisco. Taught silk screening to adults and watercolor to children for the Community Cultural Coordinating Committee of Pacifica.

1972-1975-Lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Designed and painted stage sets for the elementary school.

1975-1978-Lived in Spain. Taught art to the students of the American School of Bilbao. Studied Spanish and European paintings.

1978-1989-Lived on a farm in Manchester, Michigan. Painted with the Chelsea Painters. Also a member of the Ann Arbor Women Painters, the Michigan Watercolor Society and the Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans. Sold paintings at art fairs throughout Michigan. Took watercolor workshops from Nita Engle and Betty Lynch. Paintings accepted in major national watercolor exhibitions. Painted “Michigan Trail” watercolor series.

1989-1992-Lived on Merritt Island, Florida. Took first of three watercolor workshops at La Romita School of Art in Terni, Italy with Charlotte Britton. Taught watercolor at the Brevard Art Center and Museum to children and adults. Member of the Salty Dag Gallery in Cocoa, Florida.

1992-Lived in Caswell Beach, North Carolina. Member of the Franklin Art Gallery in South Port.

1993-1998-Lived in San Francisco. Member of the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery. Represented by Swanson Fine Art, Elite Fine Art Ltd. and Art Works in San Francisco. Painted with the Marin Watercolor Society and studied with Frank Webb and Don Andrews. Took a watercolor workshop in Terni, Italy.

1995-1996-Lived in Malaysia. Taught drawing and watercolor to Adults at the American Malaysian Association in Kuala Lumpur.

1996-Lived in Washington, DC for 6 months. Visited National Museums of Art at least twice a week.

1998-Moved to Cayucos on the Central Coast of California. Exhibits in Cayucos Community Art Gallery, Morro Bay Art Association gallery, The Gallery at Marina Square and Castoro Cellars. Paints with the Wednesday Irregulars. In 2001 took watercolor workshops in Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. Taught both a watercolor and oils and acrylics classes in Cambria for the Questa Community College 2008-9. Taught senior members for the Cayucos Art Assn. 2010.

2019-Has continued to take workshops, teach art and give demonstrations. Since 1998 has held offices in various organizations including President of the Central Coast Watercolor Society, Cayucos Art Association and the Estero Radio Club.
