Artist Statement—
Alexandra S. Iorio makes religious icons for homes and hearts around the globe. Her images capture the old master iconographers by using gold leaf and other materials in creating her fine art. Alexandra’s goal is to enhance a spiritual experience, to help in creating a connection for miraculous intervention,and to complement that place for quiet prayer in the home. Alexandra creates her icon images on stone, on wood, and on beautiful boxes.
