Artist Statements:
Duane Laurabee has studied art and music since childhood and has shown at an early age in Carmel, California. Later, he had shown or performed in New York, Philadelphia, and Santa Barbara.
His paintings hang in many private collections throughout the United States.
Landscapes and seascapes are usually dominant in his work with added interest in impressionistic and abstract experimentations. Laurabee took an extended hiatus from painting for his pursuit of music interests and in the last two years has resumed his participation in the visual arts.
