I moved to the Central Coast of California, where I fell in love with rolling hills that reach to the sea and began to pursue lifelong dreams of becoming a professional artist. The local landscape has had a profound impact on the artwork I create in oil. “My style is representational, utilizing a glazing technique of many thin layers to create a translucent effect that provides depth and emanates light from my paintings. My current body of work has been inspired by the powerful movement of the sea and magnificent coastline. “During the last thirty-five years. I’ve become an award winning artist, a member of The Portrait Society of America and Oil Painters of America.”
