Artist Statement:
Nancy Jensen celebrates the simple joys of living on the central coast of California. Her watercolor paintings honor the fruits of the harvest in local vineyards, the springtime surprises of bright wildflowers and blooming gardens, the fresh produce of local farms, and the gifts of the sea scattered on local sandy beaches. She captures the rich architectural beauty of historic missions, the patchwork tapestry of rolling hills, and the quiet pleasures of relaxing at home with a good book and a cup of tea. Grateful to be part of such a stunning natural setting, Nancy strives to preserve the joy in her watercolors.
