In her watercolor paintings, she honors the fruits of the harvest in local vineyards, the springtime surprises of bright wildflowers and blooming gardens, the fresh produce of local farms, and the gifts of the sea scattered on local sandy beaches. She recognizes the rich architectural beauty of the historic missions, the patchwork tapestry of the rolling hills, and the quiet pleasures of relaxing at home with a good book and a cup of tea. Grateful to be part of the community in such a stunning natural setting, she strives to capture and preserve the joy in her watercolors.

She lived in London UK for 12 years, where she taught Mandarin at Kings College and the UK Foreign Office. She and her husband, the writer Scott Bradfield. moved to California Central Coast in 2016. Influenced by several of her family members who were professional artists. She liked drawing and painting from time to time when she lived in London, but went on to develop her painting skills after she moved to California.Ji is impressed and inspired by Central Coast scenery. She paints landscapes, seascapes, birds, flowers and pet portraits. Her work ranges from the realistic to the abstract in her preferred mediums of watercolor, pastel and acrylic. Steve divides his time between creating assemblages and abstract painting on wood panels. The assemblages are made by taking small hand built familiar objects and motifs and placing them in box frames to create absurd scenes that include absurd and humorous titles. Steve has recently begun creating absurd scenes out of cut painted paper pasted on heavy paper also with absurd and humorous titles. The paintings are abstracts in his Cayucos series using acrylic paint inspired by visits  to the Central Coast. He and his wife Barbara currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jari de Ham has long been interested in the art of Jari de Ham has long been interested in the art of Chinese painting and calligraphy. Her journey began as a child, then on to a BA from UCSB, working as an artist from home, followed by classes at Cuesta College. This added to a lifelong interest in Asian culture from martial arts to Zen Buddhism lead her to study at an art academy in Hangzhou, China. Jari continues to be inspired by this ancient technique.
