Long Beach. She continues to take classes in order to explore and experiment with all aspects of the fiber arts.Gay possesses an appreciation of the multifaceted role that fiber has played in the art and material cultures of many ethnic societies, and her creative high comes from the actual process of trying out the multitude of techniques, both old and new available to textile artists today.

His work all originated from snapping photos of reality. Unlike most abstract artists, he doesn’t start from a blank slate. Instead, Brian is goal oriented while working on art, which is unusual given that he is more often a process-first-centered-thinker. His oil paintings cover a span of over 30 years making his paintings of Morro Bay a historical archive of town and waterfront changes through these years. Engineering has been my career. Photography has been my passion. I got my first camera when I was about 12 and never really stopped taking photographs. My education and experience has been as a civil engineer. it down. I’ve gotten into the habit of carrying a camera with me, wherever I go. When something catches my eye, I photograph it. I’ve discovered that I have a good eye, and a great imagination.
