Cathy’s pursuit of streetscape/landscape images have taken her around the world for well over 30 years. The visual artistry of her photographs is born of a keen eye for the unusual and a life-long passion for the outdoors. This passion shines throughout Cathy’s work and has attracted a wide audience. Cathy’s style is unmistakable. Her talent for rare captures of amazing images fills her portfolio with a sense of passion, inspiration and the extraordinary. Her success derives from the patient pursuit of unique moments, the magic, and energy of the streets and outdoors. He shares his enthusiasm for photography and the outdoors through teaching, writing, and exhibiting. Kerry is the author of three instructional photography books and co-author of three photo-essay books, all nationally published. Engineering has been my career. Photography has been my passion. I got my first camera when I was about 12 and never really stopped taking photographs. My education and experience have been as a civil engineer. I’ve gotten into the habit of carrying a camera with me, wherever I go. When something catches my eye, I photograph it. I’ve discovered that I have a good eye, and a great imagination. My goal is to take photos that folks look at and say, “That’s a cool shot.” I photograph what I see, and it took me years to realize that most folks didn’t see what I saw. My photos are representative of my different photographic interests. I favor nature and the outdoors of Northern California. What is the Sublime? The sublime was a prominent art term and visual pursuit, particularly in the 18th and 19th centuries.  However in it’s heyday, the sublime was pictorially sought through naturalistic landscape paintings.
