Ardella’s painting inspirations have been the subjects found in the many places she has lived—from living on a cattle ranch north of Cayucos to the beautiful harbor of Morro Bay, California.

He can be seen with his plein air easel and paints walking all over Morro Bay’s beautiful seaside and town looking for a new location to paint the incredible beauty of nature and the quaintness of this small town. His oil paintings cover a span of over 30 years making his paintings of Morro Bay a historical archive of town and waterfront changes through these years. Jeff Odell’s paintings are lush with color and textures.

Lower Gallery FEATURED Artists:  DEBBIE GEDAYLOO & STEVIE CHUN Type of Art:  PEN AND INK DRAWINGTitle:  “TANGLED LINES”Artists Statement— Gallery at Marina Square is proud to present two amazing artists:  Debbie Gedayloo and Stevie Chun.  Debbie and Stevie have come together to showcase their pen and ink drawings.  Both artists work with different techniques and line intensity, patterns and ink strokes.  Debbie is a Zentangle artist and Stevie combines minimal shapes and circle patterns.  Each artist’s creations are intense with detailed pen and ink strokes that both come together in their show, “Tangled Lines”.

Lower Gallery FEATURED Artist:   JARIEN DE HAM Type of Art:  CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING Artist Statement— Jarien de Ham began Chinese brush painting in 2002 with a class offered at Cuesta College. Bird and Flower painting, one of the four genres of Chinese painting, drew her in. Then came Calligraphy and classes in China that covered Landscape and Figure painting. While we are a long way from China here on the Central Coast, many elements revered in China are here — cypress trees with their irregular balance, foggy atmosphere, fish and birds which are subjects of her paintings.
